PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This metallic belt is made of stainless steel or refractory steel.
These belts can be clinched at 90º (ER belt) or 180º (ER-P belt).
In belts clinched at 90ª, each spiral is joined together by a straight rod connector crimped at the edges, producing a smooth and uniform selvage. The result is a heavy-duty metal belt capable of working at high temperatures. Highly used in sintering processes.
The linking hooks can be welded to achieve an even greater overall robustness.
The belt clinched at 180º is commonly known as baker belt. Its spirals with close-woven pitch and clinched crimped rods provides a thin and robust belt. The reduced mass reduces the thermal effort, generating a noticeable energy saving.
The clinched at 180º, guarantees a controlled stretching of the material during the warming process and eliminates the possibility of wear by friction prolonging the life cycle of the belt. Ideal belt to be used in large ovens.
