Glass and ceramic

BALANCED WEAVE METAL BELTS (SO) are the most suitable for glass and ceramic applications.

The most commonly used materials for glass are AISI 304, AISI 430 or carbon steel with 3% chromium.

In the glass and ceramic industry, metal belts are used for internal transport, tempering and annealing, rolling, and subsequent processing.

It is crucial to consider that these applications involve high temperatures. Therefore, the selection of the belt and material is of utmost important, taking into account factors such as temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and surface design.

Our balanced weave metal belts (SO) are the most commonly used in this sector.

We can manufacture them with the necessary openings according to the needs of each application, and if required, we can produce them with laminated wire to provide a flatter surface and, therefore, greater stability for the product.

The most commonly used materials are AISI 304, AISI 430, or carbon steel with 3% chromium. For ceramic applications is 1xR19.
