Glass and ceramic

BALANCED WEAVE METAL BELTS (SO) are the most suitable for glass and ceramic applications.

The most commonly used materials for glass are AISI 304, AISI 430 or carbon steel with 3% chromium.

In the glass and mosaic sector, metal belts are used for internal transport, tempering, annealing, rolling, and subsequent processing. It is crucial to consider that these applications involve high temperatures. Therefore, the choice of the belt and material is very important, taking into account factors such as temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and surface design.

Our balanced metal belts (SO) are the most commonly used in the glass and mosaic sector. We can manufacture them with the necessary openings according to each application's needs. Additionally, if required, we can produce them with laminated wire to provide a flatter surface and, consequently, greater stability for the product.

The most commonly used materials are AISI 304, AISI 430, or carbon steel with 3% chromium. For ceramic applications is 1xR19.
